Legal Internship – Institute of Excellence in Research and Law (IERL)
The Institute of Excellence in Research and Law (IERL) is opening an assessment-based, paid Legal Academic Internship in 2026 (Teaching & Academic Engagement) role for eligible law students. This program supports skill-building, financial independence, and hands-on academic experience—perfect if you enjoy explaining legal concepts and working with peers.
What you’ll do: I.E.R.L. Law Internship
- Deliver lectures on assigned topics (in English)
- Support academic instruction and student engagement
- Run sessions using IERL-provided PPTs and materials
- Help create an interactive classroom environment
Who can apply
- Students in 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated law program, or
- Students in 2nd year or above of a 3-year LL.B.
- Preference may go to applicants with prior teaching experience or content-creation work.
Stipend
- ₹1,500 – ₹9,000 (varies with role and workload)
Selection process
- Round 1: CV screening (shortlisted candidates receive a detailed term sheet)
- Round 2: Discussion round
- Round 3: Interview
