Course Structure and Teaching Requirements

  • Each elective course requires 40 hours of classroom teaching

  • Classes are conducted on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • Most sessions are scheduled between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM
  • In special cases, classes may also be conducted on Saturdays
  • Courses may be condensed into 4–6 weeks in exceptional situations

Types of Elective Courses

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Graduate and Postgraduate degree in Law or Social Sciences
  • Experience (any one of the following):
    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification academic/professional experience
    • 7–10 years of legal practice experience
  • Preference will be given to:
    • Candidates with strong publication records
    • Subject-matter experts with teaching or research experience

  • Applications are reviewed by the Academic Review Committee (ARC)
  • Final course approval depends on:

    • Minimum student enrollment as per university regulations
