International Conference on Justice 4.0: AI, Policing, and the Transformation of Criminal Law – Call for Papers 2026
Mar Gregorios College of Law has invited research papers for an International Conference on the theme “Justice 4.0 – AI, Policing, and the Transformation of Criminal Law.” The conference will be conducted on 27–28 July 2026 at Sophiya Hall, Thiruvananthapuram.
The conference aims to discuss the growing role of Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies in criminal justice administration, policing systems, judicial decision-making, and legal governance. It also seeks to examine the constitutional, ethical, and human rights concerns related to algorithmic decision-making, surveillance systems, transparency, accountability, and privacy protection.
The event will encourage interdisciplinary discussions to develop balanced and rights-oriented legal frameworks for the responsible use of AI in criminal justice systems.

Mar Gregorios College of Law is a prominent legal education institution in Kerala known for promoting academic research, legal scholarship, and interdisciplinary studies in contemporary areas of law. Mode of Presentation
The conference will be conducted in hybrid mode. Participants may choose either online or offline presentation according to their convenience while filling out the registration form.
Publication Opportunity
Selected research papers will be considered for publication in a special volume of the Journal of Mar Gregorios College of Law (JMGCL), ISSN 3107-9946.
Awards
A Best Paper Presenter Award will be given under each sub-theme of the conference.
