About the Legal Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (LEIC)
The Legal Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (LEIC) of USLLS works towards encouraging innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among law students. The cell aims to help aspiring legal professionals develop practical skills and explore innovative solutions to legal sector challenges.
As part of its ongoing initiatives, LEIC is inviting applications for its Summer Internship Programme 2026.
About the Internship
The Summer Internship Programme is designed to provide participants with exposure to:
- Legal research and policy analysis
- Academic content development
- Consumer protection laws and related legislation
- Field-based research activities (where required)
- Problem-solving through policy-oriented research
- Development of creative legal communication tools
- Cartoon and comic creation using digital platforms
The internship seeks to enhance both analytical and creative skills, enabling participants to contribute to legal awareness and policy discussions.
Internship Theme
The primary focus of the internship is:
Consumer Protection and Related Legislations
Participants will undertake research projects aimed at understanding contemporary consumer rights issues and legal frameworks governing consumer protection.

Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from:
- Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme.
- Students pursuing a 5-year integrated law programme.
- Students enrolled in recognized law universities or institutions.
- Students or professionals with experience in cartoon creation, illustration, or graphic design.
Preferred Skills
Candidates possessing the following skills may have an advantage:
- Legal and academic content writing
- Research and analytical skills
- Doodling and illustration abilities
- Graphic designing using tools such as:
- Canva
- Adobe Photoshop
- Similar design software
Internship Duration
- Duration: 1 Month
- Internship Period: 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2026
Stipend and Certificate
Stipend
- No stipend will be provided during the internship.
Certificate
- A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful and satisfactory completion of the internship programme.
Important Note
- Participation in the internship does not create any right or claim for future employment with USLLS or GGSIPU.
