This fellowship is designed for law graduates and legal professionals interested in child rights litigation and criminal justice practice.

Work Location and Travel Requirements
The selected candidate must reside in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Periodic travel to Ujjain will also be required to supervise fellowship-related litigation work and coordinate with litigation fellows working in the district.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- LL.B. or B.A. LL.B. degree from a recognized institution
Essential Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in child rights litigation
- Updated knowledge of new criminal laws and special legislations
- Strong understanding of:
- POCSO Act
- Juvenile Justice Act
- Child-centric criminal jurisprudence
- Experience in:
- Legal research
- Drafting
- Court pleadings
- Litigation supervision
- Ability to mentor and guide junior legal professionals
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong organisational and case-management abilities
- Commitment to ethical and trauma-informed legal practice
Desirable Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates having:
- LL.M. or equivalent Master’s degree in Law
- Supervisory experience in child rights litigation
- Knowledge of:

Roles and Responsibilities
The Supervisor will perform the following duties:
- Oversee litigation-related activities under the fellowship
- Maintain documentation and records of all case work
- Coordinate with:
- UNICEF Madhya Pradesh Office
- NLUD
- Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (MPSLSA)
- Supervise Litigation Fellows in Jabalpur and Ujjain
- Conduct mentoring and training sessions
- Ensure timely and professional case management
- Monitor compliance with fellowship objectives and standards
