About Justice Sandeep Mehta Internship

The Chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Mehta, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for in-person, full-time internships on a rolling basis for the period October 2025 – December 2025. This opportunity offers law students the chance to gain invaluable exposure to the functioning of the Supreme Court and deepen their understanding of constitutional and legal practice.

Eligibility Criteria

The internship is open to law students who meet the following requirements:

  • Students currently in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. program (or equivalent).
  • Students in the 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. program.

Internship Slots: Judge Sandeep Mehta Internship

  • 4th October 2025 – 31st October 2025 [Open]
  • 1st November 2025 – 30th November 2025 [Open]
  • 1st December 2025 – 20th December 2025 [Open]

Note: If applying for multiple slots, a separate application must be submitted for each.

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the start date of the desired internship slot.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email or phone approximately 2 weeks before the start of their chosen slot.
  • If no communication is received within this period, it should be understood that the application was not accepted.
  • The process is highly competitive and outcomes should not be seen as a reflection of an applicant’s abilities or potential.

  • Due to the large volume of applications, individual status updates cannot be provided.
