About Academic Fellowship at NLU Delhi 2024

Academic Fellowship at NLU Delhi 2024 for the Joint Master/LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Management which is being jointly offered by the National Law University Delhi (NLUD), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM – Indian IP Office). The first edition of this programme seamlessly blends Intellectual Property Law expertise with cutting-edge management principles.

Remuneration and work conditions

  • A consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 60,000/-per month will be paid. No additional benefits/perks will be provided.
  • The offer beyond the duration of the contract may be renewed based on the performance of the candidate.

Job Profile

  • Will facilitate as a teaching assistant for faculty involved in teaching the WIPONLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. Programme faculty.
  • Will assist in the organization and implementation of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. Programme.
  • Any other work assigned by the programme director of the WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint Masters/LL.M. Programme or by the university/centre/chair in the area of intellectual property.

Criteria of Selection

  1. STAGE – 1 (60 Marks)
    1. Educational Qualification and Academic Performance – 15 Marks
    2. Relevant experience – 15 Marks
    3. Demonstrable Interest (Relevance) – 20 Marks
    4. Behavioural Profile – 10 Marks
  2. STAGE – 2 (40 Marks)
    1. Written Test – 15 Marks
    2. Interview – 25 Marks

The candidates invited for the written test and interview shall be in a 1:4 ratio after screening the candidates for qualifying in STAGE- 1.

Duration of Academic Fellowship

  • The appointment shall be for 12 months, and any subsequent renewal is contingent on the further requirements of the project as well as an analysis of the performance of the candidate.
  • The contract may be terminated by providing a 15-day notice from either side.
