The 18th Pro Bono Enviro (Environment) National Moot Court Competition 2024, hosted by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Law University, Tamil Nadu is a prestigious legal event that fosters awareness and advocacy for environmental issues. The competition provides a platform for law students to showcase their legal skills and understanding of environmental law through simulated court proceedings. Participants will argue hypothetical cases related to environmental challenges, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The competition serves as a valuable opportunity for students to develop their legal careers and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Eligibility: Dr. Ambedkar Law University National Moot Court Competition

Participation is strictly restricted to bona fide law students enrolled in the three-year or five-year LL.B. or B.L. degree course in any institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Only ONE TEAM is permitted to participate from each registered institution.
Each team shall comprise of a minimum of two and a maximum of three members. In a team consisting of three members, two of the members shall be designated as “Speaker” and the third member shall be designated as ‘” Researcher”

Inaugural, Preliminary Rounds, Octa Finals & Quarter Finals (Online) – 27th – 29th September 2024
Semi-Finals & Finals (Offline) – 19th October 2024

Awards: National Moot Court Competition

Winner of the Competition – Trophy, certificate and cash prize of Rs.40,000/-
Runner-up of the Competition – Trophy, certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000/-
Best Memorandum – Trophy, certificate, and cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-
Best Researcher – Trophy, certificate, and cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-
Best Speaker – Trophy, certificate and cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-
2nd Runner-up of the Competition – Trophy and certificate
2nd Best Memorandum – Trophy and Certificate
2nd Best Speaker – Trophy and Certificate
2nd Best Researcher – Trophy and Certificate
Best Speaker – Finals – Trophy and Certificate
Spirit of the Competition Award – Trophy and Certificate
- All participants of the Competition will be given Participation E- Certificates.
- The certificates will be emailed to the participants after the completion of the competition.

The Registration Formalities shall be done in two steps:
Provisional Registration of the participating institutions shall be sent to ProBonoenviromcc18@gmail.com. Participants shall complete the following Registration Formalities:

Teams are required to complete the registration on or before 22.09.2024, 11:59 PM IST by filling the registration form in the link https://forms.gle/WSseroA7pszpLhnE8
The Registration Fee is Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) per team.
