Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is offering Winter Internship Program 2024-2025 opportunity to law students to witness and have experience working with this Authority which is working tirelessly towards achieving “Access to Justice for all”. DSLSA invites online applications for the Winter Internship Program –2024- 25 from law students at various Law Universities/Colleges in India.
Objective: DSLSA Winter Internship Programme 2024
Who can apply? Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) Internship
Law students pursuing Five years Course and Three Years Course are eligible to apply for this program.
Skills required.
Efficiency in written Communication (English), Legal writing, Basic legal knowledge, computer operation in Word/Excel/PPT
Suggested field areas for visit during the Internship period.
While interning with Authority the students may have an opportunity to visit the authorities/places mentioned below:
- Department of Family Welfare, GNCTD of Delhi
- Special Courts dealing with cases under Section 138 N.I. Act C. Observation Homes for Juveniles.
- Mental Health Institution (IHBAS)
- Delhi Commission for Women
- Legal Services Clinics
- Mediation Centers
- Family Courts
- Labour Courts and tribunals including Armed Forces Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunal, MCD Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Forums, etc.
- Juvenile Justice Boards
- Children Homes & Child Welfare Committees
- (Civil & Criminal Sides) District Courts
- LokAdalats
- Tihar & Rohini Jails
- Special Juvenile Police Unit, Delhi Police.
- Police Stations/ Forensic Science Laboratory
- National Commission for Protection of Child Rights/ Delhi Commission for Women.
- Protection of Child Rights
- National Commission for Women/ Delhi Commission for Women
- National Commission Dispute Redresesal Commission/ State Commission
- Dispute Redressal Commission
- Old Age Homes
- Society for Promotion of Youth & Masses (SPYM)
- All the DLSAs for Door-to-Door Campaign, (submission of an online questionnaire filled during the door-to-door visit.
Academic Credit: Legal Services Authority Internship
Internship Certificate at the successful completion of the internship subject to submission of Project Report on the topic provided during the Internship & also to submit brief/write up (3-4 pages) on any of the topics dealt with during the Internship.
Attendance
Minimum 75% attendance is a must for the Internship.
