About the NUSRL Ranchi Conference

The Centre for Research in Criminal Law and Forensic Science is pleased to announce a Global Dialogue on India’s Emerging Criminal Law Framework for 7th and 8th March 2025.

The conference shall be held offline.

The new criminal laws are an attempt to consolidate the developments that have taken place in the light of new criminal jurisprudence evolved through case laws, enactment of other contemporary laws, and addition of new offenses in light of the modern ways of committing a crime, technological advancements, their use in crime detection, use of Forensic Science in Criminal Investigation, etc.

Submission Guideline

  • All submissions are accepted only in the English language.
  • All papers must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 300 words.
  • The abstract must expressly include the novelty and usefulness of the idea that the author wishes to put forth and must categorically mention the specific contribution of the article beyond the existing available literature.
  • Co-authorship is permitted up to two authors.
  • The manuscript should not contain any references to the identity of the authors. However, authors are allowed to cite their previous published work.
  • The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and 1.5line spacing, and footnotes should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and single line spacing and must conform to the BLUEBOOK (21st Edition) citation style.
  • Manuscripts should only use footnotes as a means of citation. No other method shall be permitted.
