Lenovo is seeking a Legal Senior Associate Vacancy 2025 for its Legal Global Contracts Team (GCT), reporting to the North American contracts team leader. Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating a high volume of complex technology, sales and partnering agreements, vendor and supplier agreements, public sector contracts, and other commercial contracts including confidentiality agreements, license agreements, data processing agreements, professional services agreements, assignments and amendments; contracts for Direct and Channel sales, RFP/RFIs, resale, nondisclosure, software license/sublicense, evaluation, cloud contracts, XaaS (e.g., DaaS, SaaS etc.), flexible consumption models and other commercial agreements.
- Developing and implementing legal efficiencies to support business teams, and improving contract processes and operations
- Reviewing existing, and creating new, template agreements and negotiation playbooks to build the team’s knowledge base, and ensure consistency and speed
- Working with clients and the legal team on strategic initiatives in support of all business units
- Providing proactive advice regarding business and legal issues and risks
- Collaborating with internal and outside counsel, technology experts, marketing and sales teams, product developers as well as with Lenovo’s customers and suppliers as needed
Qualifications: Associate Counsel Lenovo Vacancy
- JD or LLM and admission to practice
- 3+ years of drafting and negotiation experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably focused on technology transactions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Governmental Contracting (Locals, State, Federal).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal interaction in a highly customer-satisfaction focused environment
- Demonstrated exceptional judgment, integrity and ability to give practical advice appropriately weighing legal and business objectives
- Proven track record in building strong, trust-based relationships with diverse client groups
- Proficiency in utilizing contract management technology for client/company reporting, and workflow management
- Experience in change management as a result of implementation of company-wide policies and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Demonstrated exceptional judgment, integrity and ability to give practical advice appropriately weighing legal and business objectives
Location:
Preferred locations include the Raleigh, NC area or the Chicago, IL area; remote positions may be considered. For “on-site” roles, Lenovo leverages a flexible workplace schedule that includes 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
