The Chotanagpur Law Journal is a peer-review Journal published by Chotanagpur Law College, Ranchi invites submissions for Volume XV 2025, from scholars, academicians, legal practitioners, and students. The journal aims to publish original, high-quality articles offering in-depth analysis, insights, and discussions on contemporary legal issues.
About Chotanagpur Law College Ranchi
The Chotanagpur Law College, Ranchi was established in 1954. It is registered under section 2 (f)& 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956 and it is also accredited with B++ from the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). It holds the distinction of being one of the oldest and most esteemed legal institutions in Jharkhand. Initially, it was affiliated with Bihar University and later became permanently affiliated with Ranchi University, Ranchi.
THEME AND SCOPE: CHOTANAGPUR LAW JOURNAL CALL FOR ABSTRACT
We welcome submissions on a broad range of legal and socio-legal issues, including but not limited to:
- Constitutional Law and Human Rights
- Criminal Law and Justice Reforms
- Corporate and Commercial Law
- Environmental Law and Sustainable Development
- Technology Law, AI, and Data Privacy
- International Law and Global Governance
- Emerging Legal Issues in India and Abroad
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: CHOTANAGPUR LAW JOURNAL CALL FOR ABSTRACT
- Manuscript Submission:
- Articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere and should consist of an abstract (NOT MORE THAN 350 words) with 3-5 keywords.
- Abstracts should provide a clear outline of the topic, research questions, and objectives.
- Manuscripts should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Use the Journal of Indian Law Institute (ILI) footnoting style for citations.
- Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, with single line spacing.
- Manuscripts should be divided into clear sub-parts for readability.
- Charts, graphs, and illustrations (if any) should be original and submitted separately in high resolution.
- File format: Word Document (.doc or .docx)
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
- Please submit your manuscripts with abstracts via cnlclawreview@gmail.com.
- The subject line should mention: “Submission for Volume XV – [Your Name]”.
- Kindly attach a cover letter with the submission, mentioning:
- Author’s full name, designation, and institution.
- Contact details and email ID.
- Include Plagiarism Report (Plagiarism exceeding 10% will be rejected.)

- Manuscript Submission: 30th April 2025
- Final Acceptance (Post-Plagiarism and Editorial Review): 5th May
- Tentative date of Online Publication: 15th May 2025
