This internship with Kridey Foundation, a socio-legal non-profit organization, provided me with valuable exposure to grassroots-level legal aid and awareness initiatives. It enabled me to explore the intersection of law and social welfare, especially in relation to child rights, women’s rights, and legal literacy.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Legal Research & Socio-Legal Issues

  • Conducted in-depth legal research on crucial topics such as:
    • Child rights
    • Domestic violence laws and protections
    • Right to Education (RTE) and other constitutional safeguards
  • Analyzed case laws and government schemes relevant to vulnerable groups.

2. Content Creation & Awareness

  • Drafted awareness material for digital campaigns and community outreach, focusing on:
    • Women’s rights
    • Child protection laws
    • Legal aid schemes
  • Created social media posts and infographics to simplify legal knowledge for the public.

3. Community Engagement & Legal Aid Initiatives

  • Participated in legal awareness workshops and street campaigns in economically disadvantaged areas.
