Internship Opportunity at NALSAR University of Law

The Centre for Disability Studies and the Centre for Legal Philosophy and Justice Education at NALSAR University of Law are inviting applications for internship opportunities on a rolling basis throughout the year. Students interested in research, legal education, disability rights, and justice-related issues can apply for internships starting from March 2026 onwards.

This internship programme offers students an opportunity to gain practical exposure to interdisciplinary legal research and policy-related work. The internship is open to students from law as well as other academic disciplines.

About the Nalsar University of Law

NALSAR University of Law is one of India’s leading law universities, known for excellence in legal education, research, and social justice initiatives. Established to promote advanced legal studies and interdisciplinary learning, the university has developed several specialised research centres working on constitutional law, disability rights, human rights, legal philosophy, and public policy.

The Centre for Disability Studies focuses on issues related to disability rights, inclusion, accessibility, and legal reforms. The Centre for Legal Philosophy and Justice Education works towards promoting critical legal thinking, justice education, and research-based legal understanding.

Eligibility Criteria

Students interested in applying should meet the following requirements:

  • Must have an interest in law, disability studies, legal research, or justice education.
  • Students from all academic disciplines are eligible.
  • Candidates should submit:
    • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • A short Statement of Purpose or motivation write-up (maximum 500 words)
    • Preferred internship duration and availability period

Offline Internship

  • Preferred mode of internship
  • Conducted at the campus of NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad

Remote Internship

  • Available for students located outside Hyderabad
  • Interns can complete assigned work online
  • Communication and supervision are conducted through internet-based platforms
