Justice KV Viswanathan Internship 2026
The Office of Justice K. V. Viswanathan, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for in-person, full-time judicial internships starting March 2026 onwards. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, offering eligible law students a prestigious opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of the apex court of the country.
About the Supreme Court Judicial Internship
This internship provides law students with practical exposure to constitutional law, judicial reasoning, and court procedures. Interns work closely with the office of a sitting Supreme Court judge, assisting in research and case preparation while observing court proceedings.
Eligibility Criteria: Justice KV Viswanathan Internship 2026
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Undergraduate law students only
- 3-Year LL.B. Course: 2nd year or above
- 5-Year LL.B. Course: 4th year or above
Mode & Nature of Internship
- 📍 Mode: In-person

Internship Responsibilities
Interns may be required to undertake the following tasks (non-exhaustive list):
- 📑 Preparation of detailed case briefs
- 🔍 Conducting in-depth legal research
- ⚖ Attending court proceedings and official meetings
- 📝 Recording minutes and legal observations
Orientation Program
At the beginning of the internship, selected candidates will undergo an orientation session covering:
- Office procedures and workflow
- Research tools and documentation standards
- Templates, protocols, and confidentiality policies
This ensures interns are fully prepared for their responsibilities.
