The IHBAS Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences Legal/Law Officer Recruitment Vacancy 2025. Appointment to the post of Law Officer on a contract basis. This institute intends to engage a Law Officer on a contract and a short-term basis.
Eligibility criteria: –
- The candidate should hold a graduate degree in Law from a recognized University and
- have at least 05 years of experience in legal work in a Government Department/Semi-Government Organization or Public Sector Autonomous Bodies or as a Legal Practitioner or
- should hold an LLM degree from a recognized University and have at least 03 years of experience in legal work in a Government Department/Semi-Government Organization or Public Sector Autonomous Bodies.
- The maximum age limit of the candidate as of the date of the advertisement is 40 years for the general category.
- However, SC, ST, and ex-servicemen candidates can avail of an additional 5 years of age relaxation and OBC candidates can avail of 3 years.
Function: Law Officer Vacancy IHBAS 2025
- To maintain and monitor a database on the cases decided by or pending with any Court of Law/Tribunal/quasi-judicial body
- To draft petitions, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, and other pleadings.
- Legal documents to be filed before the various Courts
- To obtain opinions on legal matters
- To maintain close coordination with Standing Counsel, Government Counsels, etc.
- Scrutiny of petitions
- Analyzing the feasibility and methodology of implementation of Court verdicts and orders.
Duration: IHBAS Law Officer Vacancy 2025
The engagement shall be initially for 06 months. However, it can be extended as per the candidate’s performance and approval of the Competent Authority or by filling up the post regularly, whichever is earlier.
Salary: IHBAS Law Officer Recruitment 2025
The amount of monthly consolidated remuneration shall be Rs 70,000 (Rupees Seventy Thousand) per month during the period of contract.

- The Law Officer (on a Contract basis) shall not be entitled to any allowance such as House Rent Allowance, reimbursement of call charges of Residential Telephone/Mobile. Transport facility, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff etc.
- No Government vehicle shall be provided to the Law Officer (on Contract basis)
